Understanding quotes - from my notebooks Quite ordinary, but special at the same time. Let it grow. Do not often need to rush things. Pause. We should ask ourselves if we're making ourselves happy. Don't cut the head off something in your life expecting that will cure the situation when root treatment is required to make a real difference. Attacking the head may be an easy option, a short-term fix, but grasping the nettle of the harder and perhaps more difficult root cause is less easy but ultimately brings the greater benefit. Could I fathom the smell? Could I let myself feel, let those senses of mine go within and experience the beauty that is there, that is me? Let that warm you through. Let that fill you, for that is you, too.
