Sincerity - Let Life Show Off Your Best Qualities
Sincerity. Not a lost art I hope. What does it mean or should it mean for us? - To be honest with others and ourselves.
- To be frank but serious about life.
- To be genuine and straightforward in our dealings.
- To act in good faith and give of our best in our interactions.
Everyone likes someone to be straightforward with them. Being deceived is not pleasant, particularly by someone close to us. To be genuine in this world today can set you apart from the masses. A lot of people think it is worth doing something in any way they can - using any dodges or shortcuts that they may find - in order to get on. This may well work to a point, but sooner or later other people see through this charade - and do not always like what they see. Why risk this? Why put your interactions with other people at risk for possible and illusory gains? Does life really come down to that we may ask? Let us hope not. There is more to life than trying to pull the wool over people's eyes, to trying to cheat the system, to trying to fool other people into thinking you are something you are not. Take care with your life. It is far too important for that. To be sincere - is it that difficult a thing to do? But at times we can question ourselves. At times we can question and wonder about life itself. We think about what is really happening in our life, and how we are handling it. What we are doing. What we are involved in. What direction our life is going in. At times like these words can be very powerful - healing, soothing, comforting, relaxing . . . The power of words . . . As we read we can let the words gently flow over us. Too gently and slowly to impact on our lives as we read - and in the future when we recall their meaning for us. I hope this page will do this and more. I hope this example will help to express life in an insightful, penetrating but easy to read manner. And help us to question the lives we lead and the manner in which we live them. Sincerity. We all think we are sincere But things are not always what they appear we all think that we cooperate but maybe it is not a good trait
Of ours, and we may have difficulty accepting that this is our way and it may makes ourselves or others angry but I'm sure that is not how we wish to display
Ourselves and the things that we do to cooperate shows a sense of unity which helps make decision making more fun working together can enable more to get done
To be sincere in our approach really works excitement, energy and enthusiasm really lurks just beneath the surface of each one of us and putting this together can bring us all some success
In helping to decide what to do we may choose a direction that few would attempt to follow or emulate but sometimes our life a path does dictate
To us and it feels very comfortable To others it might just make their mind boggle At the thought of doing things this way But we just think it makes the most of our day
Honesty, truth, candor are parts of sincerity Look at them closely for they have their own beauty Treat people in your life and your decisions with genuineness And they will return to you good faith and straightforwardness
And you know you are at the center of cooperation Which will help your making of a decision Into a pleasure and not a chore Give yourself wholeheartedly otherwise you might deplore
Your lack of effort if you care to look back At your efforts and actions, lest you take some flak At not being sincere and holding yourself back Your path in life may become confused as you lose track
Of what you are doing and how to be With others loyal, and act with honesty and integrity And life will have many wonders it would like to share With you and your kin if only you make it your affair
To always give of your best and be genuine Then others will approach you for help as they liken Your efforts and wish they did more of the same For they like you could then win their game
But life is not one of hide and seek Be forthright but honest and don't freak If life gets tough and questions you well You'll find the answers, and understand life in a nutshell. All best, Martin
