Saying Yes Feels Good - But Agree Before Doing So

Saying yes - is that easy to do?

Such a small word but what effects it has. To engage and communicate our agreement bridges the gap between us. Enables people to come together. Helps people to share and contribute.

Because it is easily said it may go unnoticed. But agreement is hard to be ignored. It brings us together. It helps us to feel that we really belong.

Agreeing often starts a ball rolling. We need to be aware of what we have set in motion and preferably before we start.

It can feel good to belong. But don't agree just for that. You should only agree with something if you are wholeheartedly behind it.

For everything has repercussions, and some are unseen. Everything creates consequences. All we can do is to move forward with open eyes and a clear heart, and try our best to think and act in a good honorable and trustworthy fashion.

Then the chances are that good will come of what we do. We will not be putting into the exercise or task any negative thoughts or the like. We will not be injecting 'bad vibes' into the things that we do. We can then be happy that good will generally come of what we do.

If, however, we set out with good intentions, or worse do things with no heart (we would rather be somewhere else doing something else), then this is not a good start to any venture.

Feelings and undertones are powers in themselves. If the atmosphere around a task or project is not right how can we expect good things to evolve. More likely distress, pain and the like will grow and develop - unless we put a stop to it.

By saying yes with consideration, with feeling, with agreement, with heart, you are giving a bit of you to the task or project. The birth is good and the 'gestation'-development period is likely to follow a good and beneficial course - because it feels good and right and built upon sound foundations and support.

If you have to say no, say it. Don't feel obliged to say yes. Don't be bullied or harassed into saying yes.

Saying yes because you want to. Do things because you want to. Support things because you want to.

Give because you want to. Contribute because you want to.

Be proud of who you are and the person you have become. (If not start changing now.)

Be a person others want to be around and respect. Share your respect with others and tell them so.

Be your own person but remember that you belong to the human race. Be a human being. There is no greater accolade.
