Praise Is Free But Goes A Long Way
Do we praise ourselves? The chances are not enough or not at all. We feel silly about the whole thing. We tend to thank others for the least little thing - as well as the bigger contributions. We clap when someone says something clever. We appreciate a song well sung, music well played. We admire architecture, the arts and sporting excellence. We need to start praising ourselves now: - We need to accept ourselves for who we are, what we do and how we react to life
- We need to reward ourselves, but only in proportion to the task performed
- We need not challenge ourselves all the time - we all need rest and relaxation
- We need to thank others and be grateful for their contribution to our ventures
Doing this we will feel good about ourselves. Actions will become easier. And we will be able to confidently move forward. We need to start seeing that we are a confident, motivated, fully active and productive human being. Seeing is believing so they say. Start praising yourself today. Give thanks and be genuinely grateful. Start appreciating what you do. Be aware of what you accomplish and the hurdles that you overcome. Take this attitude forward with you into all areas of your life, and how you deal with other people. Respect others and yourself. You will not regret it.
