Perception quotes from my notebooks:

The following are taken from my notebooks. They will I hope complement the quotations given above as well as reveal a little more about my life and my thinking about life. They are all related to the theme of perception quotes.

Some are idle thoughts and comments on life and the life we lead. Others could one day be developed further into articles or reports. I feel that they are related to the 'perception quotes' theme.

Perception quotes - from my notebooks

Does life play you? If so to what end? Do you observe duplicity? Life may have its reasons but straight as a die they invariably are, testing they may be - but not to find you wanting their purpose. The solution is there for you to see. Just don't be blinkered or blindfolded as you look.

Life rarely offers quick fixes, but we can build ourselves a framework for living. We can empower ourselves and not fall pray to an emotional minefield. Learn to give yourself a break.

Do we recognize the sadness and the conflict in others, yet fail to see the warning signs within ourselves?

Not wise to deny all you don't understand

  • Situations, circumstances and events can bring experience
  • Experience, time and feeling can bring understanding
  • Understanding life can bring wisdom

Truth is what men make of it.

What are things worth to us or to others?

The wonders of nature. The wonders of life. All around you. Be amazed at what you see, feel, hear and taste.

If you cannot measure it can it be real?

Is life a matter of learning pre-conceived ideas? Reformatting our concepts and values? To really find that which underpins and supports life, and ourselves within that life.

We say that 'so and so' (you supply the name/person) is lost, gone missing. Do we know ourselves where we are - or are we lost also?

Let us rise above both our conceptions and our misconceptions. Let nothing hold us back from fulfilling our potential and finding our true place in this life.

If you ask a question listen to the answer. Understand what's being said - query if not - react by putting things right if necessary.

Don't take exception to the least little thing.

What do you need to lose - your illusions?

What gives your life meaning?

Make the most of it. Give of your self and you will receive back multi-fold. Give little and you will receive little in return.

Are you quiet, reserved and malleable? Go along with things, rocking the boat not on your agenda?Or are you talkative, pushy, not afraid to project yourself. Focused and confident with no fears on the horizon. What ARE you like?

Do you have a serious slant; but is not the essence of life to have fun and enjoy the experience?
