Is Originality Our Playground - What Are We Afraid Of?Originality our playground. How would life then be? What can we not create with our imagination? All it needs is some direction and the focus to keep on track and off we can go. Innovation is something else though. Something that needs substance and reality. Something that seeks use and effectiveness. Something that we need harness. Something that we need energize with our own faith and inspiration. Ingenuity is not just the sole prerogative of the intellectual. Of the genius. If we can bring a fresh outlook to an old problem then are we not being ingenious? And can we not all do that (in our own way and in our own field)? We are unique. We may like to belong and so we can if that is our wish. But we are different from all other things. And not just our DNA or finger prints. No one has had our experiences in quite the way that we have had them. In the same order. At those times. And under those circumstances. If we could play back our very own movie, the movie of our life - how much would we recognize? Would it seem like someone else's life or our own? What does make our life ours? We are in this body. We have our spirit and life within. We are the one doing things. No one stands here in our place. We are us. Others can recognize us. We are named 'Xxxxxx'. That is how we are known. But we are much more than that. Our name does not even touch the surface of what we are. Of what we are capable of. Each of us knows ourselves - our individuality - to varying degrees. We could all do with finding out more about ourselves. When we buy a house, buy a car, spend a great deal of money, we want to find out all about the object being purchased. Yet in life we are forever doing things on the outside, yet rarely do we venture within to investigate and experience the 'usness' within. I may answer to my name but I am much more than that. And so are you. Find that originality within you. Explore that. Enjoy that. Originality our playground - take pride in being you. |
