Opportunity Enables You To Learn, Grow, Develop And Reach Your Potential

Do you believe that life is full of opportunity for you? Or the possibilities seem to manage to pass you by?

Are there openings to the right and left of you, chances you could take if only you looked away from the straight - forward or is it ahead? Away from the straight and narrow and you would see what life has in store for you. But you are happy to stick to your straight line. Not wanting to deviate lest you lose your way.

When openings crop up, as they surely will, are you ready to act? Are you ready to march forth confident in your own abilities and direction? Or do we later look back on a chance missed?

We have all had them. In different ways life has presented us with chances and breaks. Some we have taken, others have passed us by. Sometimes due to being too busy to see, other times we've looked and judged them inappropriate.

But later we may regret our decision. At times we can roll back and take up the offer, other times it is gone for ever.

What do we need to do? Have our sail up and ready to follow the winds of life. Have our antennae up and ready to receive an invite and then to accept.

We are right to be skeptical and doubtful. Not everything that comes our way will be to our advantage. Some will be for experience only. Some will be false tracks. Some will be tangents and time wasters.

Many are the situations and circumstances we find ourselves in in life. What we make of them can define our day, our month and, at times, our life.

With experience and wisdom, the knowledge we have learned and gleaned throughout our life, we need to be able to assess and evaluate what is on offer.

At times we have jumped in and found the water to be at just the right temperature, yet it is not always that way. A bit of prior thought and planning invariably enables us to be ready for the challenges of life ahead of us.

Some challenges tend to repeat themselves. We seem to fail at the first or second hurdle, but we are being given the opportunity to have another go. To rise to the new occasion and to benefit and prosper from the experience.

We can then move on in life, rather than having to repeat, repeat, the same thing before we learn and grow, develop and understand a little more of life and ourselves.

At times really exciting possibilities - a life changing opportunity - appear ahead of us. And it is most tempting to take them on. Whether we do or do not is down to us and how we feel at the time.

But it is important to stay true to yourself and your value system. Be principled and you will know what to do.

If you have a doubt inside, a doubtful feeling about the task ahead, move on with caution. And retrace your steps if you feel the need.

Only you can be the judge, but judge and decide you must. Your life is at stake. Often in small ways, other times is more definitive and significant ways.

Go forth if you will, but keep your eyes open and your senses on alert. You will then know whether this avenue feels good and welcoming, or is a trap and may do you harm in some way.

You have the wherewithal. You can decide. Meet any life changing opportunity head on. Enjoy the adventure.
