Mediocrity Can Be A State Of Mind - Control Yours

Can I get away from mediocrity?

What is this anyway?

  • Poor effort
  • Distracted focus
  • Playing in the wrong arena
  • Being ill prepared
  • Inadequacy
  • Half hearted tries
  • My life's work

Is that in your eyes or what others have said? Be aware of your own self worth. Do not be put off by what others say. Reflect on what others say, it may not always be right of accurate. Make up your own mind.

What is it to perform under par? Not to the expected level.

Horses for courses. I could have made a half decent middle distance runner in my younger years (with more training, better focus, more effort and more practice) but did not have the build to say be a good rower.

I liked languages for a while but earned my living in the sciences. I have played gold but insufficiently to make my mark there.

It can all be a state of mind.

Or it can be trying to fit a square peg in a round hole.

Or it can be lack of effort and application.

Or it can be just not finding your niche or area of accomplishment.

Let it propel you to other activities and greater success elsewhere.
