Encouragement Can Change A Life - Be Ready To Give It Freely

Are you good at supporting and assisting others or accepting encouragement yourself?

Is this something you can do or something that you need to work on? For it is certain that you will be in both these situations in the days ahead and how you handle them will impact on your path in life.

If we just look at what this support is then we can see why we may have the need for it, or the people around who may have the same need.

Encouragement helps to contribute to our growth and development in life. It helps to boost us when we are low and in need of inspiration. It helps to spur us on and stimulates us to give of our best. It helps to further advance our endeavors. It offers motivating assistance when the need is there. In simple terms it helps to feed us and maintain our energy for the life ahead.

We can be inspired. Our confidence can be increased. We can feel well motivated to tackle the tasks that we have before us, and particularly those we may have not attended too recently.

To be encouraged is to feel nurtured and supported.

It helps to give us the courage to continue our fight, and inspire us to greater effort. It helps to draw out of us that little bit extra that enables life to move on apace, and for us to achieve our goals and targets.

He helped to bring out the best in us.

It helps to support and give us good heart in trying times. And when times improve it helps to energize us to further achievement and productivity.

At times encouragement can be a comfort to us. It enables another person to show how much they care and feel about us and our endeavors. This reassurance and comfort, love and support all help to improve the quality of our life.

At times we may need to be prompted or to be persuaded to carry on. We can hit a wall of difficulty, frustration, obstacle and hurdle that seems impossible to overcome.

At times like this the help and support of another eases the load, can help to remove or ease the pain, can help to elevate us back to the level of thought and feeling that we should experience.

We may feel that we are totally independent and have no need for the help or support of others. That is fine and our choice. But we need to be aware that sooner or later we will hit the rails and be in need of help.

At these times we should not feel any less a person for having to accept outside assistance. In fact would we not be foolish to refuse help in our time of need?

When it is our turn to offer assistance to a friend or loved one we should equally feel honored that we are able to help, but also that this should in in no way diminish the other person in our eyes. We should feel grateful that we are able to do this small service when we can.

And, if you like, honor, the bond between us by giving of ourselves when others need is there.

If we maintain a healthy positive mental attitude and respect ourselves then we will each day be encouraging ourselves. By so doing we will also be able to see the need in others.

In this way we will be able to give back a little, and contribute a little to the life we live and the people around this.
