Encouragement Is Uplifting - Inspire Someone Today
Encouragement is uplifting and a wonderful gift. From one to another. Yes, you can do this. You can be this person you've always wanted to be. You are worthy, irrespective of the result of this action or activity. We all need to hear those thoughts and sentiments from time to time. You are you and you are a prize among people, whoever you are. Whatever your background. Whatever is happening, whatever . . . Why is this so important. Simply because there is much in life to give us a hard time, whether we feel that or not. The stresses and strains and pressures of 21st Century life. And we are often the lucky ones. We have a PC and electricity, a roof over our heads to read this, but ... To encourage another human being is such a great way of repaying our debts, for the common good of all. By which I mean, we receive so many gifts and pleasures, so much help and assistance in life, often from unlikely quarters - and this can be one of our chances of repaying, or contributing. It can bring hope and friendship to another. Offer a little bit of reassurance. It can help them feel good about themselves. To raise their hopes and to offer them inspiration. To see themselves in a better and more wholesome light. And all through a few well chosen or thought out words, a little action unexpected and not asked for. A small deed to cheer up another person, friend or loved one. And what does the giver get in return? Not so that we encourage with a view of personal gain, but we do receive back, don't we, when we think of and help others. This can be its own reward - see the effect on another - see them become more confident. See their motivation rise. See their self respect become real once more. See them accepting themselves again and again. And the beauty of this all is that the giver needs to be a clear space in order to even see that encouragement is even warranted, let alone go ahead and act. So it can say something about ourselves, or the other person when we are the recipient, and the state and peace of mind and heart for this interaction. Because so much of this comes from the heart. This can be such a real heart to heart communication, one person to another. A little thing but with huge and possibly life changing repercussions. And it costs so very little, does it not? Just a little thought or care. To help support and comfort. And start . . . Encouragement is uplifting. Let us all find it in our hearts to help another today.
