Duty Is Something That Comes Natural To A Person With Integrity

Do you have a strong sense of duty? Or is such a thing alien to you?

Are you loyal, and if so to what? Yourself? Your family? Your boss?

Are you honorable? Do you act with integrity and from loyalty? Or are those unknowns in your world. Do you think they are alien to your nature, your environment, your world?

Honor amongst thieves. Not many of us are thieves, but they have their code, too.

Every organization has a code of conduct - mostly written - by which members must act. Otherwise anarchy and confusion rules. Uncertainty and ill discipline rules.

And then what, if anything, gets done?

What rules do you have? What principles help support your life? What do you follow?

Think on those questions. Not just once but until you act. Practice until something becomes ingrained. There is no need to write them down hold them in your heart. But writing them down is an act that does seem to be able to cement these things in our mind, and in our being.

Have them in your spirit. Follow them with your heart. Let it lead you through the avenues and byways of life.
