Appreciation Of Life Can Give You Understanding And Increased Knowledge
Appreciation of life, and what we find in it, is a wonderful thing. It shows that we value the object of our focus and attention. Be it living or inanimate, we understand its importance, what it has done for us or what it can do for us. To realize this brings a breath of fresh air into our lives, that may have not been there moments earlier, or refreshes it and show us that we matter. For valuing and appreciating things, a situation, a friends assistance, a door being opened for us, a heartfelt gesture. All these things and more, both big and small, can touch our hearts. And they can make a real difference in any one's life. A moment of thought, a small deed or action, can turn our life round. A simple appreciation can make all the difference. And why is that. We are living beings. We have a heart that wants to feel love, joy, contentment. This is our life blood. This is really what life is about. Living and seeing, observing and reflecting, understanding and . . . Gaining the wisdom of experience, the knowledge that comes from trying and failing, but learning at the same time. Growing and developing. Improving and understanding. Becoming more. Becoming us and . . . This can show us that our path in life is good. Show us that there is much to experience and discover and uncover in life. Yet, when we are shown something in life, we need the wherewithal to recognize those moments and understand that this is important. We need to be aware. And we can show our appreciation for life in the way we live and what we do. Don't just do things for ourselves but also for others and the common good. And not just to get something back - yet we can be rewarded just by the doing and not the receiving - but to give selflessly. Then life can move onto another and higher plane. Higher in the sense that we are more conscious of life and what is happening to us and what we are doing. And this is life's reward. Life is not all possessions and wealth, but experience, feeling, satisfaction, wonderment. Joy, happiness. Being in our life, not just doing all the time. Appreciation of life. Being ourselves and being happy with that. And being grateful and giving thanks. And not taking all of this for granted . . .
