If we can develop our own process, or model our approach to making decisions on what successful people have done, our chances of achievement and satisfaction will rise considerably. After all how well we cope with the choices we make and their consequences not only affects what we do in life, the path we take, but also our success in the ventures we undertake.

Greater understanding of the process of making a decision would not only help with life's events, both great and small, but also have a huge and important impact on our life in general.

The elements of successful decision making

Several elements come to mind and these will form the backbone of the pages of this part of the website. We will be looking at, amongst other things, the following different elements of ensuring the decisions we make are both successful and productive.

• does cooperation, both with others and better coordinated action on our own part, play a part in making decisions?
• what about life changing decisions?
• what is successful decision making?

And things seemed so simple . . .

It is only when we look at things in life a little more closely that we see how easily things are taken for granted. Without looking at the above list of thoughts and questions which of us would dream, and that includes me, that there was so much to the 'simple' art of making decisions.

My aim on these web pages is to help us all, and I await with anticipation to see how this project - which focuses on decision making - turns out.
